The PRO R version has a thick 5 mm mic boom and a removable microphone. The octagonal neodymium magnets and the thicker mic boom helps the microphone stay in place even during turbulent conditions. 
 
The micrphone has a new design that can be used with or without a magnet. It connects to the cable using a sturdy two prong military type connector that will stay firmly in place. (The Raptor is an updated Pro X).
 
Choose the Raptor if you want to attach the microphone to the left or right side of the headphone.
 
Available with either our own M-7A2 microphone, David Clark TSO M7A or M87 dynamic microphone for military intercoms.
 
Microphone can be swapped out for David Clark M7A TSO microphone.
 
Choose the Sony styple plug (3.5 mm) if you use XM3/4/5 headphones. 
 
Choose the Bose style plug (2.5 mm) if you use Bose QC35/45 or 700 headphones.

5. The Pro models come with robust microphone booms. Our competitors only offer floppy microphone booms that move easily during turbulent conditions.
6. Crystal Mic is not a one product company like our competitors. Crystal Mic is sub-brand of Crystal Pilot and OSEI. We have many talents and we develop and sell many professional products for pilots, divers and explorers.
7. We don't use cliches to market our products. "Designed by Pilots for Pilots" may be cool if you grew up in the 80's but we would like to highlight that engineers are needed to design products that are robust and reliable.
